Everything connects to everything else here.
Ok, so this is my second post, and it's a little more organized now....
No - not that my posts are organized - don't expect them to be.
This is essentially a personal website, but it has a couple interesting side-effects.
If you have not noticed yet, keywords link things together. Think of it as a type of free-association....VERY free association. You'll find things that link to other things in ways that make you scratch your head and go "huh?," but don't be surprised - even IF it's an hour and a half long video that's linked, if/when you watch the video, you'll get the association.
By being a "personal" website, I mean that this is basically all just for myself. Sure, you're welcome to visit and read my posts, and leave comments and suggestions and whatnot, but I don't place things here for incredibly general consumption, so the organization may be in a way you're not entirely familiar with. I apologize in advance to the individuals coming here from a link on my resume.
Right now, everything looks highly political here. That's because the most memorable videos and links that I read/study are political in nature...or scientific in some way - check the Lanl Arxiv Feeds for the latter. For the former, check out the content if you want, but please be aware that it is a mess, and that your comments are, most certainly welcome.
All of the RSS content (in "News Aggregator," "News Feeds," and "Lanl Arxiv Feeds") synchronizes with their respective hosts at different times and frequencies throughout the day. Usually, this is due to two factors: how often the hosts update the feeds, and how much I don't want to bog down the host servers with RSS requests.
Every single keyword has an associated RSS feed at the bottom (the icon that looks like the "Syndicate" icon without the word "Syndicate" above it) - feel free to use these on your own site.
Every single keyword has an associated order. The order is mostly arbitrary, but it does follow the biases and associations in my own mind relating to that piece of content and the associated keyword.
Eh, you'll become familiar with it - just play around. To start navigating around the various keywords and their associations, click on the "media" keyword at the top of this post and see what comes up.
